We'll start by discussing how mosaic knitting works and how to read a mosaic chart. Then we'll get started on the Pines and Needles shawl! The trickiest part of this shawl is the very beginning, so we'll work through that together during the workshop. Then you'll be on your way to relaxing, satisfying knitting and a beautiful shawl.

Pines and Needles shawl pattern, available on Ravelry
- US Size 5 circular needle, at least 24 inches long
- 2 colors of fingering to sportweight yarn, approximately 400 yards of each color
- FYI - yarn used in the photo is from Plied Yarns in their Fingering/Sport weight: one skein of Pink and one skein of Tree Baltimore.
- Stitch markers
Homework: None, just come with one ball of each color ready to use.
Skill Level: Intermediate: knitters should be comfortable reading basic charts and working basic increases and decreases.
