Lunch Options

Using the input provided on our April lunch survey by the KDO community, we have a plan to address everyone's needs for lunch during KDO.

The lunch break will be from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025.  To make sure you are prepared, please review the lunch options listed below and plan ahead.  

Pre-purchase lunch

Central Penn will be preparing to-go orders based on the pre-purchase lunch orders we receive. You may pre-purchase lunch when you register for classes or you may return to the KDO website later and pre-purchase it then. Lunch cannot be purchased at the event. It must be ordered and paid for through our website by September 17. Lunch purchases have the same refund policy as class registrations. That policy, including applicable dates, can be reviewed here.

Your lunch from Central Penn will include:

• Classic Sandwich (choose type of sandwich when ordering)
• Garden Salad
• Signature Potato Salad
• Cookie
• Fountain drink or water (free refills)

When ordering, you will be able to indicate any dietary needs such as gluten-free or other. To pre-purchase lunch, follow the link below and add lunch to your cart. 

Drive and get lunch from a nearby restaurant or fast-food location

Bring your lunch

You are welcome to bring your own lunch and sit in the cafeteria space or outside. There are no refrigerators available to store your lunch but there are vending machines available to purchase a drink.
