
Crochet Corner to Corner (C2C) with Zakirah Boyd (9/27/25 1:30 PM)
In the Corner to Corner (C2C) crochet class, students will experience a step-by-step guide to mastering this versatile technique. You’ll learn how to start from one corner and work your way to the opposite corner, creating beautiful diagonal designs. Expect to explore different stitch patterns, color changes, and how to read C2C patterns, all while creating a stunning project of your choice. By the end of the class, you’ll have the confidence to tackle C2C projects like blankets, pillows, and more!

Supplies:
- Worsted or DK weight yarn in at least 2 colors
- Crochet hook size H/8 (5.0 mm) or appropriate size for chosen yarn
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Graph paper or printed C2C chart (if applicable)
Homework:
- Practice making a C2C swatch (4x4 blocks) using half double crochet or double crochet.
- Print or bring a C2C chart you might like to try (or use a simple one provided in class).
- Choose two yarn colors and make sure they’re wound and ready to go.
Skill Level: To keep up in the Corner to Corner (C2C) crochet class, students should have a solid understanding of basic crochet skills, including how to create chain stitches, slip stitches, and double crochets. Familiarity with reading simple crochet patterns and understanding how to change colors will also be helpful. If you’re comfortable with these foundational techniques, you’ll be able to follow along and learn the C2C method with ease.
