Double Knitting is Double the Fun! Learn the basics of two-color double knitting with knitwear designer Duke of Nikko by making a small swatch of one of his double-knit scarf designs.

Supplies:

• 20g or 0.7oz each of Worsted or DK weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors (light and dark colors)
• Knitting needles that are a few sizes smaller than the suggested size (e.g. US5 or 3.75mm needles for Worsted, US3 or 3.25mm needles for DK)
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• Scissors

Homework: None

Skill Level: Advanced and/or adventurous: Intermediate level skills plus ready for unusual stitches, complex patterns, and unfamiliar techniques. Welcomes a challenge; won't expect instructor to explain standard abbreviations (examples: kfb, yo, ssk).
