Two at a Time Toe Up Socks with Mariah Stanford (9/26/26 1:30 PM)

There are so many options when it comes to hand knitting our socks. One of these options uses the Magic Loop method to make both socks at the same time! We will be making a mini pair of socks using worsted weight yarn on a 40" circular needle. This is a quick and fun way to try out the two at a time method to see if it is right for you. Skills Learned: Turkish cast on, Knit front and back (Kfb) increase, Short row heel.

Supplies:

Two 20g balls of worsted weight yarn, wound separately
US 6 (4mm) or US 7 (4.5 mm) 32” circular needle used for Magic Loop
Locking stitch markers
Measuring tape
Scissors
Tapestry needle

Homework: None

Skill Level: Intermediate or Confident Beginner. Previous experience with Magic Loop and with short row heels is helpful, but not required.
