Restore your torn, stained, or worn-out denim using basic Sashiko, a visible mending technique that originated in Japan and has been embraced by thrifty and creative folks around the world. In this beginner-friendly workshop, we'll use running stitch, the easiest of all embroidery stitches, to reinforce thin fabric, patch holes, and cover stains. During this workshop, you'll work with a selection from my vast collection of new and vintage fabrics and threads. Transform your old jeans into your new favorite jeans!
