Supplies:

  • 2 different colors of worsted weight yarn (50-100 yards each)
  • Size US 6 (4.0 mm) and US 8 (5.0 mm) 16-inch circular needles (or needles needed to match gauge*)
  • Size US 8 (5.0 mm) DPNS (or needles needed to match gauge*)
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Copy of Quick Ombré Hat pattern by Emily Dormier.  Available for free on Ravelry.
  • *Gauge: In Stockinette stitch, 4" = 20 stitches and 26 rounds on larger (US8) needles

Homework: Cast on and knit ribbing (K2, P2) according to pattern and size.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner. Able to reach charts, able to knit in the round and comfortable working with double point needles.
