As makers, we put our hands through a lot. This class is designed to give our hands a little extra care and attention so we can continue with our making. Mariah Stanford is a licensed physical therapist and she will guide you through techniques and exercises that will help to stretch and strengthen your hands. These exercises will include self-massage, gentle stretching and strengthening using objects already found in the home. Mariah will answer simple questions about aches and pains we experience while making and provide recommendations for improved positioning while you work on your own project during class.
