Let’s dye some one-of-a-kind yarn! In this workshop, you’re in charge as we ice dye 2 hanks of yarn using powdered dye, our imagination, and ice! Come prepared to try something new, get dirty, and make some magic! Yarn will be available to bring home on Saturday. Please wear old clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.

Materials Fee: $30/student. Fee covers the cost of the dye, 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn per student, and soda ash. (Pay teacher directly in class. Exact change appreciated.)

• Apron to protect clothing
• Gloves (medical grade or rubber cleaning gloves are fine)
• N-95 Mask
• Safety Glasses
• Hair Dryer
  
• Optional - ear protection for when hair dryers are going
