During class students will learn to make I-Cord to use as ties, bag handles, or bootie laces.  They will complete an I-Cord cast on, complete I-Cord finished edges, and finish the sample with an I-Cord bind. In addition, students will also learn to add an applied I-Cord to a finished swatch and discuss applications and characteristics of I-Cord and I-Cord edging.

Supplies:

• Worsted and DK weight yarns that are tightly plied to get a nice finish.
• 6" or 9" inch DPNs in a size to match the worsted and DK yarn weights
• 24 inch circular needles in a size to match worsted weight yarn
• Scissors
• Pen/Pencil and paper for notes

Homework: None

Skill Level:  Confident Beginner who can cast on, knit, purl, and bind off without assistance.
