A lot of people think of Knitting versus Crochet, but, as a Knitter, you should know the crochet basics! When we talk about knitting and crocheting, we often focus on how different they are. In this fun and intriguing class, Jackie will demonstrate several useful techniques for the Knitter: chain stitch, crochet cast on, fixing mistakes, binding off, picking up stitches, and borders (single crochet and the crab stitch).

Supplies:
- Crochet Hook, 5.0 mm or 5.5 mm

Two 20 ozs of yarn, in similar weight of the homework swatches
Homework:
- Complete the following two swatches in worsted-weight or Aran Weight Yarn.
- Make one 4”x4” swatch in stockinette stitch. Bind off all stitches and block swatch
- Make one 4”x4” swatch in stockinette stitch and leave stitches on the needles.
